Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic condition which causes sticky mucus to build up in the lungs and digestive system. It affects more than 10,800 people in the UK. One in 25 of us carries the faulty gene that causes it, usually without knowing.

My name is Beth, I have created the Legacy 10… I will run 10 marathons in 10 weeks.

I have cystic fibrosis & know first hand the fight isn’t over! We still need a cure and to bring change…

The legacy 10 is dedicated to those babies who have parent WITH CF so it’s new kind of legacy… those babies whose parents aren’t here anymore to remind them of how amazing their parents are, to thank the babies of those of us still here because without them we may not be here fighting as hard as we are but also I want to ensure generations to come don’t have to fight as hard as those before them to become parents & get their dreams… whatever that may be!

So I want to do my last challenge in big style and complete these 10 marathons and raise £10,000!
